The UCLA Bruins apparently want to get rid of the rival USC Trojans early on Saturday night in the Rose Bowl, and so far, they’re succeeding, thanks to the receiving efforts of Thomas Duarte.
After USC started the game off with a pick-six of Brett Hundley, UCLA answered back with a touchdown pass from Hundley. On the Bruins’ next possession, it didn’t take long for UCLA to get the 14-7 lead.
Watch in the video below of Hundley hitting tight end Thomas Duarte who proceeds to torch the UCLA defense for 57 yards and the touchdown.
Well this is escalating pretty quickly here, USC. You see, what you were supposed to do is bring the defense with you to the game, that generally helps in these types of situations.
In all seriousness, though, Duarte is easily one of the best pass-catching threats in the nation that no one really knows about. He has the tremendous size, and obviously, he has the blazing speed to go along with it.
If USC does not tighten up on the defensive side of the ball, then this one could get outta hand pretty quickly.
