Buccaneers vs. Bears Inactives: Brandon Marshall, Doug Martin Will Play

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears didn’t envision their meeting this season would be under such depressing circumstances, but that’s the case as they clash on Sunday.
When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers saw that Lovie Smith would be returning to Chicago with them this weekend, the thought at the time would be that the game might be an old NFC Central showdown. Of course, Lovie came after realignment, but there was also something special about the Bears and Buccaneers meeting that made that game watchable.

Not this time around though, as the Buccaneers and Bears are sinking in the NFC with the bad or average play across the board the only thing keeping their playoff hopes alive. In the North, the Bears are looking at still making the postseason as division winners, however slim their chances may be. The same can be said about the Buccaneers, who despite only winning three games this season have been put in the situation where the NFC South is so bad they are still alive — somehow.
