The Green Bay Packers aren’t going to hang 50 points this week, but Eddie Lacy’s fourth-quarter touchdown gave them some breathing room at Minnesota.
The Green Bay Packers have scored 108 points in their last two games and headed to Minneapolis Sunday for their second meeting of the season with their NFC North rivals, the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings had “held” Green Bay to just 42 points in a 42-10 loss earlier this season, but the Packers weren’t quite as high-powered on the field turf of TCF Bank Stadium.
Leading just 14-10 at halftime and 17-13 early in the fourth quarter, though, Aaron Rodgers directed the Packers on a time-consuming, soul-crushing 87-yard, 11-play drive.
The march was capped by a little shovel pass from Rodgers to Eddie Lacy, who hit the “B” button on the old Xbox controller for a spinning touchdown that gave the Packers an 11-point lead:
It was Lacy’s second touchdown of the day—he also scored on a 1-yard run late in the first quarter for the first score of the game.
The Packers are looking to complete their first season sweep of the Vikings since 2011, but heading into Sunday’s game, Green Bay was 8-1-1, including the postseason, against Minnesota since the 2010 season.
