Every week that I’ve written this piece so far this season, I have changed the format. I am getting a lot of complaints that the articles, while containing great substance, are really long and to time consuming to read. I’m done with that. I’m done with giving you a list between seven and ten different players for each position to choose from. Although these pieces will contain substance about the players that I pick, it will make your choices much simpler going forward in picking the players that can win you your Fantasy week.
This week I have three different FanDuel lineups. This week, I entered leagues that would broadcast to a wide range of FanDuel players. This is what we got in this piece:
Team A: NFL Day Only (1:00 P.M. Start time)Â
Team B: $2.5M NFL Sunday Million ($25 Entry Fee)Â
Team C: NFL Mini Dive ($2 Entry Fee)Â

My Quarterbacks this week:Â
My Strategy: My goal is to spend my money on this position. By that, I simply mean that in two of the three leagues, I spent huge money on the position. Quarterback isn’t a place to be cheap. Of course, there is always one guy you can get on the cheap that plays really well, such as a Zach Mettenberger this week. However, in a league where I’m putting my hard earned money on the line, I’m not gambling on Mettenberger.
Team A: Andrew Luck v. Jacksonville ($10,300)
Andrew Luck is fantastic coming off a loss in his career. Luck is 12-2, counting playoffs, coming off a loss in his career. He usually tends to play well also, as he is averaging 20.5 fantasy points per game. The Colts will be matching up against Jacksonville, who although have been playing better, still give up the 13th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
Team B: Aaron Rodgers at Minnesota ($10,200)
Nobody is playing better football than Aaron Rodgers is right now. Seriously, Aaron Rodgers is playing at an insane rate right now and he has a cushy matchup this week. The Vikings have allowed the 8th fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks so far this season, however, they did allow Jay Cutler to torch them just last week.
Team C: Josh McCown at Chicago ($7,500)
I have Josh McCown rated as a top 5 Fantasy Quarterback this week. Why? I’m all in. If you look at his last few weeks, he has back to back 20-plus fantasy points games against Atlanta and Washington. Yes, those teams haven’t played well, but neither have the Bears. Right now, the Bears have allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and with a Lovie Smith return to Chicago, I think Tampa Bay is going to come out ready to play.
Nov 9, 2014; London, UNITED KINGDOM; Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray (29) looks for room to run during the second half of the game Dallas Cowboys and
My strategy: I want DeMarco Murray on any team that I can get him on. So my goal was to lock up DeMarco Murray and figure out the rest later.
Team A: Isaiah Crowell at Atlanta ($5,500) and Shane Vereen v. Detroit ($6,500)Â
Team B: DeMarco Murray at New York Giants ($9,000) and Isaiah Crowell at Atlanta ($5,500)Â
Team C:Â DeMarco Murray at New York Giants ($9,000) and Rashad Jennings v. Dallas ($6,600)Â
Running Back Analysis:Â
Shane Vereen is the way that I believe that this backfield leans towards next week because of his ability to catch the ball in space. I don’t expect to see Gray at all this week, and I expect to see a little of Blount. I think Vereen will command majority of the carries.
Isaiah Crowell is the way that I ultimately believe the Browns backfield is going to lean. Not only do I like Crowell’s ability to perform as an every down back, he also possess the potential to vulture all of the touchdowns.
Rashad Jennings is a guy I like because he will not come off the field even if the Giants are losing because he can catch the football. He is a really safe play, especially in half point PPR leagues.

Wide Receivers:
My strategy: This is the time where I will ALWAYS pair my starting quarterback with at least one of his receivers.
Team A: Â Reggie Wayne v. Jacksonville ($6,900); Roddy White v. Cleveland ($7,300); Josh Gordon at Atlanta ($7,800)
Team B: Randall Cobb at Minnesota ($8,800); Malcolm Floyd v. St. Louis ($5,600); Jarvis Landry at Denver ($6,000)Â
Team C: Josh Gordon at Atlanta ($7,800); Mike Evans at Chicago ($8,400); Torrey Smith at New Orleans ($6,500)Â
Wide Receiver Analysis:Â
Josh Gordon is the clear standout on my team. I have no inside tip on if he is going to play well. In fact, I’m acknowledging that his call may easily come back and bite me. However, if you want to start Josh Gordon, go for it. Remember, there are no stats to look at, you just have to have faith that Gordon will play well.
Jarvis Landry will be another receiver that I will receive multiple questions on, and I love his value this week. If you look at Landry’s body of work, you’d see that in the last three weeks he’s managed at least five targets in every game and that he’s also scored two touchdowns in that span. FanDuel also accounts for kickoff returns and punt returns, and he could make an impact there.
Roddy White will be covered by Buster Skrine. Enough said.
Reggie Wayne’s chemistry with Luck is unmatched, and I think that they are going to be hooking up a lot after finding that Reggie Wayne has a long track record of destroying the Jacksonville secondary.

Tight Ends:
My strategy: All the Tight Ends at the top besides Gronkowski are way too risky this week for me, so I’ll go cheap and hope they can get me double digit fantasy points.
 Team A: Coby Fleener v. Jacksonville ($5,400)Â
From a talent standpoint, I don’t like him. However, he is working in a high scoring offense that will give him the ability to catch a touchdown pass every single week that Dwayne Allen is out. With that being said, Tight End’s haven’t quite lived up to the hype so far this season, which is pushing up guys who have one catch and a touchdown. However, Fleener did catch all seven targets he was given in relief of Dwayne Allen last Sunday.
Team B: Scott Chandler v. New York Jets ($5,000)Â
Scott Chandler! I see the question marks forming in your head. However, the Jets have allowed touchdowns to opposing tight end’s so far this season and Kyle Orton managed to throw for four touchdown passes in his previous game against the Jets earlier this season. In the dome, against a bad passing defense and with past success against the Jets, I’m buying in.
Team C: Eric Ebron at New England ($4,900)Â
Sometimes when you play FanDuel you just have to pick a player and dearly hope that everything works out. This is one of those plays. If you look at the film, Ebron has been beaten up and not involved in the offense. However, just last week we saw how Coby Fleener managed to play against the Patriots as they were too worried about their wide receivers. No guarantee, but I’m nearly positive that the same problem is going to occur this week with figuring out how to cover Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate.

Defenses:
My strategy: Find a defense playing a struggling offensive line and a long history of a team playing horrible on the road. That team is Detroit. They have a long history of struggling on the road, and there is a good chance that the Patriots are going to exploit the Lions offensive line.
 Team A: Patriots v. Detroit ($5,200)Â
Team B:Â Patriots v. Detroit ($5,200)Â
Team C: Rams at San Diego ($4,800)Â

Kickers:
My strategy:Â Get a kicker who preferably plays a bad defense, along with a kicker who will be playing in a dome.
Team A: Cody Parkey v. Tennessee ($5,000)Â
Team B: Billy Cundiff at Atlanta ($4,500)Â
