The early games for Week 12 of the NFL season have all come to a close on Sunday afternoon, and the action is becoming more crucial by the week as some teams a clamoring for a playoff spot, while some are trying to hold on to a top seed.
Most notable from the early games on Sunday was the fact that the New England Patriots looked dominant once again as they throttled the Detroit Lions at home, to move their record to 9-2 on the season.
In the NFC, the Green Bay Packers once again able to pull out the win, although it wasn’t in quite as dominating of a fashion as they have been accustomed to lately. They were able to take care of the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings, 24-21.
Next weekend, we could be getting a preview of the Super Bowl as the Packers and Patriots will clash in what will undoubtedly be the game of the week for Week 13.
