The University of Michigan currently has seven players committed to their football team from the Class of 2015; one of those, four-star tight end Chris Clark, has been reported as exploring other schools.

This number is down from fourteen; since September, the university has watched as seven senior prospects have turned back on their decision to play for the school this coming fall. The seventh of these, running back Mike Weber, made his decision to look elsewhere on Saturday.
Per Sports Illustrated, Weber will now join defensive tackle Darian Roseboro, cornerback Garrett Taylor and linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr in the search for a different school to play for. Weber, who currently attends Cass Tech in Michigan, had been given offers by Ohio State and Michigan State before ultimately committing to the Wolverines back in August.
He announced his decision in a tweet Saturday evening, thanking the school for the opportunity but declaring he will commit to playing elsewhere.
I'm decommiting from the university of Michigan thank you Michigan for the love and support I'll remake my decision at the army bowl

There is speculation among the NCAA Football community that Weber and the others who have moved on from Michigan are doing so amid rumors that head coach Brady Hoke may be on the way out. In addition to sitting at a 5-6 record on the season overall, the Wolverines were given some less-than-positive media attention back in early October over Hoke’s decision to keep quarterback Shane Morris in the game following a concussion. Students at the university protested, especially since video footage of the incident showed that Morris was unable to walk unassisted following the hit in question; it seems like Hoke’s job has been on the line ever since.
