The news for the Titans and the Eagles is big news, especially for the Eagles Matthews, as they try to continue their quest to win the NFC West.  Quarterback Mark Sanchez needs all his weapons.  Matthews has 44 receptions for 558 yards and six touchdowns.

As for the Titans Hunter, he has 23 receptions for 416 yards and two touchdowns.  As with Sanchez, Titans rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger needs all of his weapons to be successful.

Titans inactives: WR Kris Durham, TE Richard Gordon, SS Marqueston Huff, DE Ropati Pitoitua, T Will Svitek, QB Charlie Whitehurst, CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson

Eagles inactives: DB Roc Carmichael,  QB Nick Foles, DE Taylor Hart, G Dennis Kelly, WR Jeff Maehl, Julian Vandervelde, CB Jaylen Watkins

The Eagles are still fighting for position in the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys for first place in the NFC East.  As for the Titans, they are playing for next year.  That is a big reason why coach Ken Whisenhunt is looking at Zach Mettenberger.

The Eagles will be without quarterback Nick Foles once again.  He could be out for the rest of the season.  Late December would be the earliest he could return.
