Quarterbacks
Peyton Manning-Denver Broncos
Manning led the Broncos to a come-from-behind win despite looking shaky at times against Miami and also leads our week 12 scoring leaders with the most points in standard scoring once again this week. He finished with 257 yards on 28-of-35 passing while throwing four touchdown passes. His touchdown passing potential will always keep him on top of the QB rankings while he leads the potent Broncos attack (even without Julius Thomas).
Ryan Tannehill-Miami Dolphins
Tannehill had a very nice fantasy day against the Broncos throwing three touchdown passes of his own while piling up 228 yards. He did throw one interception but added 15 yards rushing continuing to be a solid sleeper at the QB position. Only Manning scored more points than he did at QB in week 12. Tannehill also has favorable matchups coming up, so add him if you can.
Tony Romo-Dallas Cowboys
Much like Peyon, Romo threw for four touchdowns in a comeback win as he piled up 275 yards against the Giants on Sunday Night Football. He did lose a fumble, but has multiple TD passes in seven of his last eight games and is a great play on Thanksgiving as the Cowboys host the Eagles with first place in the NFC East on the line.
Eli Manning-New York Giants
Although he lost to Romo, Eli looked sharp with some help from Odell Beckham’s acrobatics. He threw for 338 yards completing 29 of his 40 passes including three touchdown passes as well as one interception. Eli continues to be up-and-down but should be able to put up some solid games the next three weeks against the Jags, Titans, and Redskins.
Tom Brady-New England Patriots
Brady continued his mid-season surge with a solid game as the Patriots rolled over the Lions at Foxboro. Brady threw for 349 yards and a pair of touchdowns while also throwing an interception. Expect a shootout in Green Bay this coming week in one of the most anticipated games of the season to this point.
Aaron Rodgers-Green Bay Packers
Rodgers only threw for 209 yards and a pair of touchdowns while adding 34 yards on the ground. While it wasn’t a huge game for Rodgers, he continues to produce solid points every week. His upcoming duel with Brady could be absolutely epic.
Russell Wilson-Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks got a big home win on four field goals and a touchdown as they beat Arizona 19-3. Wilson and the Seahawks could definitely have done with more trips to the end zone, but he still put together a solid line. Wilson threw for 211 yards and one touchdown while running for 73 yards on ten attempts.
Teddy Bridgewater-Minnesota Vikings
Bridgewater threw two touchdown passes while piling up 210 yards in the air and adding 32 yards on the ground. In the coming week’s Bridgewater takes on the Panthers and Jets making him a sneaky QB2 pickup until week 15 when he takes on the Lions.
Zach Mettenberger-Tennessee Titans
Even though Tennessee lost 43-24, Mettenberger threw for 345 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He threw an interception as well, but he’s showing some intriguing promise in his rookie year for the Titans.
