Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr. Flopped, Says Ref (Video)

New York‘s Odell Beckham Jr. accused of flopping by the games officials as tried to get a Dallas defender penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct. 

The NFL and soccer finally have something in common. They both now have a flopping Beckham.

There was an interesting moment in last night’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. New York wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. made a catch and then appeared to take a pretty substantial hit after running out of bounds.

So, tack on another 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct, right? Not so fast say the refs.

Yep, you heard that right. The ref says Beckham “took a flop.” Somewhere out there, soccer’s David Beckham is happy, though he might not even know why.

Beckham ended up having a monster game with 10 catches, 146 yards and two touchdowns. This includes an amazing one handed touchdown reception that is arguably one of the greatest catches of all time. With that kind of effort, Beckham’s flop can probably be forgiven.
