A bald eagle flew around Reliant Stadium prior to the Houston Texans’ Week 12 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The eagle was wearing a GoPro camera, providing all of us a true birds-eye view.

It’s simply awesome to follow the eagle on his journey, so kudos to the American Eagle Foundation for coming up with this idea.
The AEF explained their reasoning behind the GoPro camera in the description for the video:
"Challenger the Bald Eagle soars into an NFL stadium during the National Anthem…wearing a camera! In an effort to educate the public about the importance and beauty of this majestic species, this video was created to show what it looks like from an eagle’s point of view during flight! Let’s keep the USA’s symbol of freedom flying strong and free!"
Challenger is a 25-year-old male. According to the AEF, he has been flying around stadiums and other events since 1991.
Unfortunately for Houston, Challenger’s presence did not prove to be a good-luck charm as they lost 22-13 and starting quarterback Ryan Mallett suffered a season-ending injury.
