The New York Jets took on the Buffalo Bills on Monday night, in Detroit. The game was originally scheduled for Sunday in Western New York, but was moved and postponed because of record snowfall that paralyzed the region.
The Bills even had to cancel multiple practices throughout the week because of the snow fall. It looked like the Jets would have an advantage in the game but it was hard to tell as they got blown out 38-3.
At one point during the game, the Jets and head coach Rex Ryan benched quarterback Michael Vick in favor of Geno Smith, who had been benched and replaced by Vick earlier in the season. Vick was awful to start the game, completing just seven of 19 pass attempts for 76 yards and one interception. Geno Smith was better, completing 10 of 12 passes for 89 yards.
Next week when the Jets play the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football, it appears like Ryan is going to stick with Vick.
If Rex Ryan is still calling the shots and Mike Vick's calf is fine, Vick is expected to start vs Dolphins on MNF, I'm told. #nyj
