Will Rex Ryan be fired after the season? It seems very possible. Will he be fired before the end of the season? He doesn’t seem to believe so.
The New York Jets suffered another humiliating loss, when they failed to show up against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.

It was an embarassing effort by the Jets and garnered plenty of criticism from fans and analysts alike, with things getting so bad that the team had to return to Geno Smith after benching Michael Vick.
But what could the latest loss mean for Rex Ryan’s future? Could the Jets ultimately decide to part ways with their head coach before the end of the season?
As far as Ryan is concerned, he will remain the coach for the rest of 2014.
“Unless it changes drastically, I will be the head coach here for the next five weeks,” Ryan said after the game, via The New York Post. “That’s what I know and I’m going to go about my job like I always do.”
It is highly unlikely that Ryan will return as the Jets head coach in 2015, but he is preparing to finish out the season with his team.
We will see whether he is able to make the most of those few weeks or if the team packs it in and the Jets have to consider letting him go before the season finale.
