Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll showed off his arm strength with a long bomb that ended in a basketball hoop.
When Pete Carroll isn’t helping his coaches draw up the right defenses to stifle division foes, as he did in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals, he’s showing off his unheralded arm strength.
The Seattle Seahawks head coach took to the practice field to show some people that he not only has a cannon arm, but he has some touch as well.
Check it out below.
After that throw, you might be tempted to look up Pete Carroll and see if he used to be an NFL quarterback, so let us save you the time. He wasn’t. He was a defensive back in his limited playing career before entering the coaching ranks as a defensive backs coach.
Still, it’s clear that Carroll has practiced once or twice with that whole throwing a football thing.
Carroll will need big throws like that from Russell Wilson on Thanksgiving when the Seahawks visit arch-rival San Francisco 49ers in prime time night action. Each team sits two games behind division-leading Arizona, lending greater weight to this matchup of 7-4 squads. The game will air at 8:30 PM on NBC.
