The Philadelphia Eagles walked into the home of the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving and they pretty much did whatever they wanted to, en route to a 33-10 win. Obviously the Cowboys were frustrated with the blowout loss, but Dwayne Harris took it too far on one special teams play.
With the game winding down, the Cowboys punted to the Eagles. Philadelphia’s Nolan Carroll was fully concentrating on just making the catch and making sure that his team got out of there with the big win.
Well, unfortunately, Harris decided to just blow Carroll up for no reason, an obvious cheap shot, and then the fighting started from there.
Nothing really to joke about here; that’s just something you don’t do. Football is a physical game, and we love it for that reason, but you never try to endanger the well-being of someone, which is what Harris did on this play.
In a few more weeks these two teams will meet on the field for the second time this year, and you can bet that someone might be looking to return the favor to Dwayne Harris.
