Florida vs Florida State
The Florida Gators will look to play spoilers in the final game for head coach Will Muschamp who was fired earlier this month and keep their in-state rival Florida State Seminoles and reigning Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston from the College Football Playoff and snap their winning streak at 26 games from Doak Campbell Stadium.

Keys to Victory
The Florida Gators have to come out and play with a great deal of emotion and get on the Seminoles early and built a big lead at halftime that even the Seminoles can’t overcome in the second half. Florida State has trailed in the second half in six of their games and in the fourth quarter in another five, but have prevailed each time.
If Florida can jump on the Seminoles early and control the game with running backs Matt Jones and Kelvin Taylor like they did in their win against Georgia when that rushed for more than 400 yards as a team, Florida will have a chance at the upset.
That’s a big if, however, as Florida State has shown no lead is insurmountable for them this year. But provided they can keep get in third and short all game and have a lead their No. 11 defense can protect, it could be an interesting Sunshine State Showdown.
Florida State should roll to their 27th straight win if they decide to play a full 60-minute game and avoid the first half issues that have plagued them all season.
Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher is 3-1 against Florida and knows how to attack this Muschamp defense so look for Jameis Winston, Rashad Greene to connect early and often in the passing game and for freshman running back and one-time Florida commit, Dalvin Cook, to play a key role for the Florida State rushing attack.
Betting Odds
Point spread: FSU -7.5

Over/Under: 52.5
Prediction
Could you imagine if Muschamp were to beat Florida State two weeks after he was told he will not be returning for 2015? It’s certainly possible with the way Florida State has kept their opponents in games this year, but I don’t think it happens, not at Doak Campbell Stadium.
Florida will need to play a perfect game to have a shot in this one and as much as I believe the emotional x-factor will help the Gators in this one, it isn’t enough to ultimately pull off the upset against their rival in their place and knock them out of the national championship game picture.
Final Score: Florida: 23, Florida State 31
