Jadeveon Clowney Says ‘Slim’ Chance He Plays In Week 13
By Hayden Kane
Houston Texans‘ rookie Jadeveon Clowney has suffered a setback with his injured knee and does not believe he will play in his team’s week 13 game on the NFL schedule.
J.J. Watt is the best defensive player on the planet. All we want to see is what he will look like if a full-strength Jadeveon Clowney is rushing the passer on the other side of the line. Is that too much to ask?

Apparently it is, at least for now, as Clowney will likely be out once again in week 13 against the Tennessee Titans due to his balky knee. That’s according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. McClain reports that Clowney called his chances of playing “slim” before offering these thoughts:
"“My knee swelled up on me a little bit, and I’m trying to get it back to the way it was before,” Clowney said. “It’s bothering me a lot right now. I’m in a lot of pain. It’s been bothering me off and on the whole season.“It’s the kind of thing if I can go, I’ll go. If I can’t, I won’t. I told them (trainers, doctors and coaches) how I feel, and it’s up to them.”"
It has been a rookie season to forget for Clowney thanks to this lingering knee injury. The uber-talented top pick has played in just four games, recording just seven tackles and still looking for his first career sack in the NFL. As each week passes, it seems like this will be a lost season and we will have to wait for 2015 to see what Clowney can do in the NFL.
