The Stanford Cardinal are looking to put a serious halt to the momentum on Friday of the UCLA Bruins, and quite frankly, they’re doing a good job of that so far. In particular, quarterback Kevin Hogan is doing his best to stop UCLA in their tracks.
Now as we know, Hogan has not been the most consistent quarterback throughout the season, which has been a good reason for the woes of the Cardinal, thus making for a rather down year.
Well on Friday, he’s putting that all behind him.
First there was this 22-yard touchdown pass to Michael Rector to give the Cardinal the 14-10 lead.
As if that wasn’t a statement enough, he followed that up with this 37-yarder to Devon Cajuste.
Wait…wait a minute. This isn’t the Kevin Hogan that we all know. This isn’t even close.
While you never want to take an opponent lightly, there is no way that UCLA was prepared for Hogan to come out firing like this.
