For a good time on Friday against Arkansas, it seemed as if the Missouri Tigers were just letting their SEC East title hopes slip right through their fingers. The surging Razorbacks had controlled most of the game, making some Georgia fans mighty happy.
Well, hold off for a little bit Georgia fans, Missouri is not dead yet.
The Tigers were down 14-6 in the fourth quarter when Maty Mauk engineered a 10-play, 98-yard drive that resulted in a touchdown pass from he to Jimmie Hunt. However, they needed the two points to tie the game.
And did they ever draw up a nice play to get those two points.
Watch in the video below as Bud Sasser takes the pitch, then proceeds to toss the ball right into the waiting arms of Darius White successfully to tie the game all up late.
Well, it seems now that we have a ball game in Columbia and the Tigers have their sights locked on that division title and a trip to Atlanta next weekend.
There’s a lot of time left in this one, but the Tigers have stolen the momentum.
