The 2014 Pac-12 Championship Game this year will be contested next Friday evening in Santa Clara, California and it will be between the Oregon Ducks and the Arizona Wildcats after the events of Friday.
Coming in, all the UCLA Bruins had to do was defeat the Stanford Cardinal and they were in. Well, that didn’t even come close to happening, as the Bruins were blown off the field by the Cardinal, 31-10.
From there, the game that was taking place between the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Arizona Wildcats automatically became a title contest for the Pac-12 South division.
And this game did not disappoint.
The Territorial Cup this year between the Sun Devils and the Wildcats was everything that we could have asked for, even if the players had no idea for most of the time that they were playing for the division crown and a trip to Levi’s Stadium.
But when it was all said and done, it was the Arizona Wildcats that prevailed in the end, 42-35.
So now the stage is set for the rematch of the year in the conference, with everything on the line. Arizona is the only team that has handed Oregon a loss on the season, defeating the Ducks 31-24 back in early October.
Oregon and Arizona will meet for the Pac-12 title next Friday night at 8 p.m. ET inside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
