The folks over at the Jersey Report are consistently tracking the data of NFL jersey sales at DICK’s Sporting Goods stores around the nation and online. They break the data up into various categories as well as identifying the top selling jerseys in numerous categories and allowing you to pit two player’s jersey sales against one another, head-to-head.
It should come as no shock that on their weekly defensive players sales list that Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly remains atop the list. He has consistently been the lone defensive player to crack the overall top 1o list. In second place is New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, who climbed up five spots to get there.
The biggest climbers came from the NFC North though. Chicago Bears defensive end Jared Allen was the biggest climber, moving up 18 spots to land at No. 5. Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was the second biggest climber, moving up 17 spots to get to No. 6 on the list.
Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller was another big climber, moving up 11 spots to land at No. 7.
The biggest dropper, to remain in the top 10, was Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, who dropped eight spots.
