We had the ever-rare fat guy interception return for the touchdown on Friday, courtesy of Virginia’s David Dean.

We can all be honest when we say that coming into the match up Friday night between two 5-6 rivals in Virginia and Virginia Tech that we were going to see some weird happenings. Well, thanks to David Dean, that has happened.
Late in the second quarter the Cavaliers actually found themselves down 10-6 to the rival Hokies and they needed some momentum quickly.
No one assumed, though, that they would get that spark from Dean, but they did.
With Virginia Tech backed up near their goal line, watch in the video below as Dean is able to pick the ball off and then get it across the plane for the touchdown, giving his team the lead.
Fat. Guy. Interception. Touchdown!
See, told ya that this game was going to be bringing out the weird. We’ve seen a blocked kick from Virginia Tech, but we can’t really count that as anything weird because, well, that’s just Beamer Ball.
But it’s pretty safe to say that we might not see anything else tonight in this one that can top this moment. A big guy like David Dean rumbling an interception to the end zone is pretty damn special.
