Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett has been everything that the Buckeyes could have asked for and then some as he’s stepped in for Braxton Miller this entire season. On Saturday in The Big Game against Michigan, Barrett put his name in the record book of the Big Ten once again.
After Michigan threw an interception on his first drive, the Buckeyes and Barrett easily drove toward the goal line. To cap it all off, Barrett tossed this short touchdown pass.
It wasn’t the most spectacular touchdown pass that we’ve seen, however it is one of the most significant in the history of the Big Ten Conference.
That’s because, with that opening touchdown strike, Barrett has now broken the Big Ten record for total touchdowns in a single season.
It’s been amazing to see what this kid has done this year, given what was thrown on his shoulders before the season even began.
