San Francisco 49ers‘ and NFL great Jerry Rice is mad because the Seattle Seahawks ate turkey and were interviewed on San Francisco’s home field after a win on Thanksgiving day.
Here’s the thing: for as much as people love to hate Richard Sherman, this probably wasn’t his idea. I don’t think Russell Wilson came up with this plan either. Nope, I think that the good people of NBC just planned on giving out turkey legs and conducting interviews with whichever team won the game between the Seahawks and 49ers on Thanksgiving night.

Not understanding that fact, Jerry Rice is mad. He thinks the Seahawks disrespected the 49ers by sitting for said interviews and eating turkey legs on the 49ers’ home field after defeating their division rival in decisive fashion.
In Rice’s view, I guess Sherman and Wilson were supposed to say no to these interviews? But as they know, the NFL doesn’t take too kindly to the decision to not talk to the media.
Rice expressed his beef on Twitter:
We cannot confirm whether Rice meant that the Seahawks have no respect for the 49ers’ rings or if he has no respect for Seattle’s ring that they just won last year.
