Wisconsin will play Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game after the Buckeyes clinched the East division by going undefeated in conference play, but they won’t have Heisman candidate J.T. Barrett after the record-breaking quarterback fractured his right ankle in the fourth quarter in their game against Michigan.
Twitter was full of predictions for the championship game where the Buckeyes will look to avenge last year’s loss.
The absence of J.T. Barrett in the Ohio State backfield and the presence of Melvin Gordon in the Wisconsin backfield seems to be the early difference maker based on some of the early Tweets pouring in, but something tells me it won’t be that simple, it rarely ever is when championships are in the balance.
