The Iron Bowl in the first half seemed as if it would be all Alabama over Auburn. The Tigers had no answer for what the Tide were doing and all hope seemed lost.
Oh, how silly we all were for thinking that.
Despite Auburn having lost three games this season, this offense can still strike at any moment, and they showed that again on Saturday night.
Auburn was down 14-9 early in the second quarter, when Auburn put a nice drive together; a drive that was capped off with this touchdown pass from Nick Marshall to the dynamic Sammie Coates.
And just like that, Auburn are the ones that are ahead in the Iron Bowl. We now have a game in front of us folks.
If Auburn can put together drives like that one, then this could be just as exciting of a game as this was last season.
As crazy as this might sound to some, the Iron Bowl may become a shootout.
