The Denver Broncos extended their lead against the Kansas City Chiefs to 14-0, thanks to a terrific effort from running back C.J. Anderson. The second-year back began the season as the third-string running back behind Monte Ball and Ronnie Hillman, but has filled in nicely while the two former players have been out with injuries.
Already leading 7-0 in the game, the Broncos drove down the field into Chiefs territory and into the red zone. Peyton Manning and offense were stalling and looking like they would have to settle for a field goal when they had 3rd and 11 on the 15.
Then, Anderson ran out of the backfield and Manning hit him with a pass in stride. Anderson was able to fight off a couple tackles and propel himself into the end zone for a touchdown.
Fans who were left watching with a sense of satisfaction after seeing such a nice play happen were quickly replaced with feelings of confusion.
After Anderson put his team up 14-0 in the game with the touchdown, he proceeded to do a very odd touchdown dance.
I don’t….I just….uh…..what?
I’m not exactly sure what kind of dance that is. Perhaps there is some kind of story behind it, or maybe that’s what C.J. gets down with at the club.
In any case, we won’t hold it against you C.J. Good play, sir.
