With Jim Harbaugh’s time as the San Francisco 49ers head coach seemingly nearing its end, the Oakland Raiders are reportedly the favorites to acquire Harbaugh via trade.
What will happen with San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh?
Well, acording to all of the latest reports, there is a very slim chance Harbaugh returns next season. However, that doesn’t mean he will be forced to leave the Bay Area.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday morning that the Oakland Radiers are believed to be one of the favorites to land Harbaugh if he leaves the 49ers. The Raiders could do so via trade.
Schefter also mentioned the New York Jets as an option.
One NFL source convinced Raiders are the favorite to trade for HC Jim Harbaugh, but Jets also known to be keeping a close eye on situation.

There were reports that the 49ers nearly traded Jim Harbaugh last season, so it isn’t a huge surprise to hear that remains an option.
Whether or not the 49ers end up trading their head coach remains to be seen, but it is increasingly obvious that both sides are coming to the realization that it will be best for everyone to simply move on.
