What are the NFL‘s top storylines for Week 13?

Teams are running out of time. As we continue through NFL Week 13 (after a lackluster Thanksgiving slate of games), things are still crowded among teams hoping to make the playoffs, but the squads with an opportunity to change their fortunes are dwindling in number.

So today we’re focusing on the stories surrounding five of these teams as they attempt to make one last push to make it into the playoffs.

In some cases, it’s about snagging a Wild Card berth. In other cases, a team’s only hope is to win the division title.

Ultimately, most of these teams both hold their own fortunes in their hands as well as need a little help. A few of them will implode this weekend. Others will win out the rest of the way, only to get blocked out by another team.

Every win counts, and yet you can win every game the rest of the way but still get left on the outside looking in.

Football, you are a cruel mistress.
