5. Manziel Is A Proven Winner

The most important thing in football is obviously winning games, and that is something that Johnny Manziel has done very well throughout his football career. Whether he has played in High School or at Texas A&M, he has found ways to lead his team to victory. He has the poise and carries himself like a proven champion, and that is something that great players possess.

There are plenty of players that have that same ability, but then come up short after making the jump to the NFL. That could be what ends up happening to Manziel, but it isn’t very likely. Not only does he have the attitude and poise, he also possesses the talent and potential to reach the level that his team needs him at.

Manziel may not end up being a top-five quarterback throughout his career, but there is absolutely no denying that he has the potential to get to that point. Putting a proven winner that can lead a team and leaves everything on the field is something that the Browns really need coming down the stretch of the season. It is Manziel’s time, and the time has come for Mike Pettine and the Browns to hand the keys over to him and let him prove himself once and for all.
