By Josh Sanchez
The New York Jets struck first on Monday Night Football, thanks to an end around from wide receiver Greg Salas which fooled the Miami Dolphins defense.
To kick off the scoring on Monday Night Football, the New York Jets used a little bit of misdirection and the legs of wide receiver Greg Salas to find the endzone.
Salas lined up on the right side of the formation, before coming on an end around to take the handoff from quarterback Geno Smith. The end around fooled the Miami Dolphins defense and Salas scampered into the endzone from 20 yards out.
Nick Folk converted the extra point to put the Jets up 7-0.
