Maryland WR Stefon Diggs To Return To Practice Friday
By Phil Watson
Maryland, bowl eligible in its first Big Ten season, will be getting receiver Stefon Diggs back at practice Friday, according to a report.
The Maryland Terrapins, fresh off a come-from-ahead loss at home Saturday to Rutgers to close the regular season, will welcome back receiver Stefon Diggs on Friday.
The Washington Post reported Monday that Diggs, who missed the last two regular-season games because of a lacerated kidney, will return to practice with the rest of the Terps on Friday, when they return from a four-day break.

Diggs was hurt when he took a shot to the midsection on a catch against Penn State on Nov. 1. He was suspended for Maryland’s game at Michigan State on Nov. 8 for his role in a pregame altercation with the Nittany Lions, and did not play at Michigan or against Rutgers.
Diggs is still Maryland’s leading receiver with 52 catchs for 654 yards and five touchdowns this season. The junior from Gaithersburg, Md., had 54 catches as a freshman and 34 as a sophomore and has 14 career touchdown grabs.
There is no question that the Terrapins missed Diggs. Their receivers had 11 drops combined against Michigan State and Michigan and the passing game sputtered as Maryland was blowing a 25-point lead to Rutgers on Saturday.
