New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick could end up playing the role of witnesses in the upcoming murder trial of former tight end Aaron Hernandez, according to Lana Jones of WBZ Newsradio 1030 in Boston. Also on the list of potential witnesses is linebacker, and former Florida teammate, Brandon Spikes.
Hernandez’s defense team asked a judge to have prosecutors put together a list of over 300 potential witnesses, and the three members of the Patriots are part of the grouping.

This would not be the first time that Kraft and Belichick are involved in the process, as the two were already interviewed about the scouting reports that put together about Hernandez before they drafted him out of Florida.
Prosecutors revealed some time ago that Kraft and Belichick were interviewed about #Hernandez scouting report and other team records.

Hernandez is charged in the 2013 killing of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd and he has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
