New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings will reportedly be ready to go this weekend after suffering an ankle injury in Week 13.
New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings left and did not return to the team’s Week 13 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after suffering an ankle injury late in the game.
However, it appears Jennings has avoided a multi-week injury, as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that the running back is not expected to “miss time.”
The ankle injury suffered by #Giants RB Rashad Jennings is not believed to be serious, source says. Unlikely to miss time.

Jennings expressed a similar sentiment following the loss to the Jags.
RB Rashad Jennings said he couldn't go back in because he couldn't press down on his injured ankle. But he's not worried about missing time.

This is surely good news for the Giants.
Although Jennings has dealt with multiple injury issues this season, he’s proven to be New York’s best running back. His 3.9 yards per carry average is nothing to get excited about, but it’s much better than backup running back Andre Williams’ 2.9 average.
Also, Jennings is coming off one of his best performances of the season. He rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns against Jacksonville before suffering the injury.
Jennings will get to run against one of the worst rush defenses in the NFL this Sunday, as the Giants will face off against the Tennessee Titans.
