Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant is on the verge of returning from injury and could be back as early as Tuesday.
The Oklahoma City Thunder might be getting MVP Kevin Durant back as soon as their next game.
Speaking Saturday, Thunder coach Scott Brooks would not rule out the possibility of Durant playing Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Anthony Slater of NewsOK.com.
Brooks also spoke positively about Durant’s progression Monday and Darnell Mayberry of NewsOK.com speculates that a return is imminent.
Brooks says Durant is "definitely moving in that direction." Says KD went through the entire practice today.

Anthony Morrow says Kevin Durant's return to practice has pushed him to the blue team. He wasn't talking about the D-League.

Morrow said Durant told him not to take it easy on him. Starting to look and sound like Durant is really close to coming back.

After a dreadful start to the season that has them at 5-12, the pieces are starting to come together for the Thunder. Russell Westbrook returned Friday from a hand injury that cost him 14 games and Durant will be back any day now from the foot injury that has kept him out since the preseason.
Durant is at worst the second best player in the NBA behind LeBron James and his return, along with Westbrook’s, immediately transforms Oklahoma City into a juggernaut.
Look out, Western Conference. The Thunder are about to be back.
