While they have gone just 20-18 in the past three seasons, Michigan is one of the best college football programs in the country and surely the school will have little trouble finding those interested in taking the vacant head coaching position.

Among those wanting to be considered: former NFL receiver Chad Johnson. Yes, Ochocinco is telling the world that he wants to the maize and blue’s next coach.

I’m going to go out and limb and say that Johnson will not be Michigan’s next head coach. Still, it’s pretty hilarious to imagine Johnson patrolling the sidelines as the head coach of a major college football team.

However, possibly after realizing he had little shot of getting such a gig, Johnson began lobbying for a position’s coach job.

It actually would be interesting to see Johnson coach receivers. While that surely won’t happen at Michigan right now, Johnson could be effective for a smaller school. The fact of that matter is that Johnson was once of the league’s best receivers and surely has a lot of wisdom that could be passed on to younger players.

In 12 NFL seasons, Johnson caught 766 passes for 11,059 yards and 67 touchdowns.
