Karageorge was a member of the football and wrestling teams at Ohio State, so some of his former teammates are coming together to find a good way to honor and remember their late teammate when they compete next season.
For the wrestling team, that will mean placing Karageorge’s initials, “KK,” on their singlets next year.
TMZ.com had the report.
“He was the kind of guy that if you were in a brawl, he would be the last one standing because he refused to quit or give up,” Ohio State University wrestler Josh Fox told the website.
Fox added that Karageorge was loved by his teammates.
Karageorge’s body was found near the Ohio State campus on Sunday after days of being missing. According to the initial reports, Karageorge died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Karageorge’s family, friends and former teammates as they deal with this difficult time.
