Who will be the fantasy MVP’s for this week? Here are my picks to have a big week for you in the first round of your fantasy playoffs. I will select one player from each game that should go above and beyond

More from Fantasy

THU, DEC 4

Matt Forte RB CHI: Dallas has one of the worst run defenses in the league and Forte is going to exploit them. Last week the Dallas defense got exploited by RB LeSean McCoy. Forte should have similar production this week.

Projection 120 yards 1 TD

SUN, DEC 7

Le’Veon Bell RB PIT: The Bengals are 26th in the league against the run. The Steelers are going to give Bell a lot of work to take advantage of this match up.

Projection 100 yards 1 TD; 5 receptions 35 yards

Rams Defense: The Rams have one of the best defenses in the league, and with the Redskins rolling out Colt McCoy at QB there is going to be plenty of opportunities to get turnovers and sacks.

Projection 2 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery, 3 sacks

Odell Beckham WR NYG: Beckham is very talented and is Eli Manning’s favorite target. Look for him to get a lot of targets and a have a good game against the Titans.

Projection 7 receptions 95 yards TD

Drew Brees QB NO:  Carolina has a tough defense, but I feel Brees is about to heat up. Brees is very good at home, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a good game this week.

Projection 320 yards 3 TDs

Charles Johnson WR MIN: This is an ugly match up. Both teams don’t have anything to play for, but Johnson had the ability to beat the Jets defense. Johnson should get plenty of targets, and he will be a heavy touchdown candidate this week.

Projection 4 receptions 40 yards TD

Justin Forsett RB BAL: This is a hard game to call, but I’m going to roll the dice on Forsett having a good game this week. Miami has a good run defense, but Forsett is going to get a lot of touches, which is going to translate to fantasy points. He’s not going to be a top performer, but with the workload, he should be dependable.

Projection 65 yards; 5 receptions 30 yards

Isaiah Crowell RB CLE:  Indianapolis doesn’t have a strong run defense, and Crowell is very explosive with a nose for the end zone.

Projection 75 yards 1 TD
Matt Stafford QB DET: Tampa Bay isn’t very good at stopping the pass, and the Detroit Lions have a high powered passing attack. Look for Stafford to have a big game. Also, start wide receivers Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate, because they should have big games as well.

Projection 300 yards 2 TDS

Arian Foster RB HOU: Foster should get a lot of work this week against Jacksonville, who is 26th against the rush. Foster is a stud running back, and if he is healthy, you have to play him.

Projection 88 yards 1 TD

Kyle Orton QB BUF: Of course you are going to start Peyton Manning and the gang this week, so I went out on the limb with Orton to help owners who stream their quarterbacks because it’s not the obvious selection. In order for the Bills to have a chance in this game, Orton is going to have to throw the ball substantially in order for the Bills to have a chance to win this game.

Projections 275 yards 2 TDs

Michael Floyd WR AZ: With Andre Ellington and Larry Fitzgerald being injured, the Cardinals are finally going to give Floyd some opportunities. Floyd is very talented and has the potential to be a number 1 wide receiver in fantasy. With the extra targets, I expect Floyd’s fantasy numbers to increase.

Projection 4 receptions 55 yards 1TD

Russell Wilson QB SEA: Wilson is going to have to throw the ball more than usual this week in order to keep up with the Philadelphia offense. I expect Wilson to get some yards on the ground, since the Eagles are average against the run.

Projection 220 yards TD 45 rushing yards

Frank Gore RB SF: Oakland is dismal against the run, and the 49ers should give them a heavy dose of Frank Gore this week. I don’t expect top 10 numbers from Gore, but I do expect him to be a RB2 this week.

Projection 50 yards 2TD

Tom Brady QB NE: I expect the Patriots to avenge their loss that they experienced last week against the Packers. Look for Brady to come out swinging this week.

Projection 250 yards 3 TD

MON, DEC 8

Matt Ryan QB ATL: In order for Atlanta to have a chance in this game, they are going to have to throw the ball. The Packers are red hot right now, and I expect them to score points in bunches this week. Ryan is going to have to throw the ball a lot in order to keep up, and he may get garbage time opportunities as well.

Projection 280 yards 2 TDs
