The attorney for the woman accusing Jameis Winston of sexually assaulting her said he expects the Heisman Trophy winner to be expelled from Florida State.
John Clune, the attorney for the woman accusing Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Jameis Winston of sexually assaulting her in 2012, says his expectation is that Winston will be found responsible and his days at Florida State will be done.
ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, covering the student conduct code hearing at the Tallahassee campus, reported Clune’s remarks:
John Clune, woman's attorney, expects Jameis Winston "to be held responsible and to be expelled."

On Tuesday, two of Winston’s teammates—Chris Casher and Ronald Darby—refused to testify during the hearing about the allegations.

Local authorities declined to press charges in the matter, which allegedly occurred in December 2012.
Casher and Darby were roommates of Winston at an off-campus apartment where the alleged incident took place.
The pair refused to answer questions from retired Florida State Supreme Court Chief Justice Major Harding, who is overseeing the hearing, on the advice of counsel.
Casher and Darby gave signed affidavits last year claiming they saw Winston having consensual sexual relations with the woman.
The hearing concluded Wednesday afternoon and a decision on Winston’s status is expected in two to three weeks, according to Clune, but Winston would have the option to appeal if he is found responsible for one of four conduct violations related to sexual violence, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Florida State (12-0) plays Georgia Tech Saturday in the ACC championship. The defending national champions are ranked fourth in the most recent College Football Playoff committee rankings, despite being the only unbeaten team in the country.
