Florida’s search for a new head coach got really interesting on Tuesday with the news that they were reportedly close to landing Jim McElwain of Colorado State. How close? Well, AD Jeremy Foley and crew got right on a plane to Fort Collins, Colorado to go spend some time with the coach to see what they could come up with.
And things got really creepy.
As you would expect, the media was all over this. Florida is one of the most high-profile jobs in all of college football, so this is kind of a big deal. The media was going to be all over this, and rightfully so. However, one part of this coverage got a little weird.
Check out this photo that was posted on Tuesday night of Foley in the McElwain household.

TOO FAR!
Yeah, this is pushing it just a little bit. This looks like surveillance footage from an FBI stakeout. It’s one thing to meet someone at the airport to discuss what their plans are; but this?
Nah.
