Shortly after making an incredible juggling catch, Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall was forced off of the field with what appeared to be an injury to the lower back/rib area.

Brandon Marshall hauled in a pass from Jay Cutler, but then he took a knee directly off of his No. 15 on the back of his jersey.

The knee came from Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church.

Video of Brandon Marshall taking Barry Church’s knee to his lower back can be seen below:

Marshall stayed on the turf in obvious pain, before being helped off of the field and into the locker room.

The Bears have not provided any update on Marshall’s current status.

By the look of the play in real time, it was very similar to the knee to the lower back area that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo took a few weeks ago. Romo was forced to miss time.

Whether Brandon Marshall’s injury will force him to miss any games throughout the final stretch of the season remains to be seen, but we will update you with his status as soon as the team provides an injury update.

Hopefully the injury does not prove to be as serious as it had appeared on the field.
