The Cleveland Browns are not very pleased with Indianapolis Colts players Trent Richardson and Josh Cribbs for saying they will jump in the Dawg Pound if they score Sunday.

The Cleveland Browns will host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, which means former Browns and current Colts players Trent Richardson and Josh Cribbs will making their return to FirstEnergy Stadium.

In the build up to the game, both players have said they will jump in the Browns’ Dawg Pound if they score a touchdown, according to ESPN.

"“I get in the end zone, get a touchdown, I’m going to jump in the Dawg Pound,” Richardson told the Colts media. “I know I have some true fans out there, and I know they still love me.”(…)“You will definitely see me in the stadium hugging fans, and if I had the opportunity to score, I would jump in the Dawg Pound to honor those guys who helped create me. They helped give me the strength and the motivation to become what I am today.”"

While it appears both Richardson and Cribbs have good intentions here, it doesn’t take a genius to know the Browns wouldn’t appreciate the two Colts leaping in the stands at their stadium.

Browns coach Mike Pettine and defensive coordinator Jim O’Neil addressed the matter Thursday and it appears the two are daring Richardson and Cribbs to make the move.

"“We’re hopeful,” Pettine said, “that they would be greeted appropriately by the Dawg Pound if those circumstances did occur.” (…)“I think the Dawg Pound would have a response to that,” Browns defensive coordinator Jim O’Neil said. “They might end up playing the rest of the game with beer all over them. If they want to do that, it might slow them down for us.”"

The good news for the Browns and for the safety of Richardson and Cribbs: the two players have only a combined three touchdowns this season.
