JJ Watt Admits He Doesn’t Understand Offensive Huddle
By Josh Sanchez

Watt is a perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate and has recently developed into a legitimate offensive threat.
In three snaps this season, JJ Watt has hauled in three touchdowns.
That is pretty impressive, but it doesn’t change the fact that the Texans defensive end does not understand the offensive huddle one bit. In fact, he admitted as much during a recently when speaking to the media.
“I have no idea what they’re saying in the huddle on offense,” Watt said this week, via ESPN.com. “I swear to God. I have no clue what the play calls are or anything. I know my little gambit of plays. I know what I’m supposed to do on those.”
You can’t blame Watt.
He has enough going on when it comes to the defensive schemes, so when his number is called on offense he just steps onto the field and does his thing. “His thing” just so happens to be scoring touchdowns.
And you have to admit: it is hilarious.
Watching one of the best players in the NFL confused when it comes to the complicated play-calling is something that a lot of fans can relate to.
