New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski seemingly isn’t worried about his meeting with possibly cursed pop star Justin Bieber.
When video surfaced of New England Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski hanging out with Justin Bieber in the Los Angeles Clippers’ locker room this week, many believed it spelled doom and gloom for New England.

The Biebs famously attended a Pittsburgh Steelers team bible study the night before the team was set to play the New York Jets in November. Following two consecutive weeks of Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger throwing six touchdowns, the Pittsburgh offense stalled against the lowly Jets and lost 20-13. Hence, The Curse Of Justin Bieber.
But it doesn’t appear Gronkowski is too concerned about his meeting with Bieber.
From the Boston Herald:
"Asked about his Bieber moment, and if he was worried the possibility of a curse, Gronk shrugged it off, and took a page out of the Bill Belichick handbook.“We’re just on to San Diego,” he said, addressing the media assembled at the University of San Diego, where the Patriots are practicing prior to Sunday’s game with the Chargers. “We’re just worried about the Chargers, man.”"
On the other hand, former NFL star Ed Reed said on Showtime’s “Inside the NFL that the Pats are in trouble because of the visit with Bieber, according to NESN.
"“Though Belichick and that defense and (Tom) Brady and them, I know they’re mad in San Diego right now (following a loss to the Green Bay Packers), the last team to party or do anything like that with Justin Bieber, they lost,” Reed said, laughing."
OK, so Reed was completely joking and Gronk meeting Bieber will obviously have no effect on the Pats going forward.
Still, there’s no doubt that talk of a Bieber curse will continue if the Pats lose this weekend.
