Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers visited the Dean of elementary students at Milwaukee College Prep School and he just about flipped his lid as the sight of the Packers quarterback and likely NFL MVP standing in his living room and so did his students

When Aaron Rodgers isn’t busy leading the Packers to wins over the New England Patriots and playing like the front-runner to win the league’s MVP, he’s a pretty damn good human being off the field as well, which it seems like there is a shortage of in today’s NFL.

Rodgers released the latest episode form his “It’s Aaron” series where he meets with community leaders around the state of Wisconsin to those who are trying to make a positive impact in the state and one other common theme is people losing their minds as the sight of the Packers signal-caller and Super Bowl champion in their presence.

Rodgers meets with Tony Gonalez, the dean of elementary students at Milwaukee College Prep School and the two drove around the town, visited with former and current students at the school that has a 93 percent graduation rate and 97 percent attendance rate.

Gonzalez spoke with Rodgers as they toured the school and the importance of families attending conferences and the high standards and challenges their children will face in the classroom where comfort and joy is found.

As a Bears fan I’m supposed to hate Aaron Rodgers because he plays for the chief rival of the NFL team I am a fan of, but with each passing game where Rodgers throws for 300-plus yards and is clearly the best quarterback in the NFL and his off-the-field work like his “It’s Aaron” project I think I like him more than any quarterback that’s played in a Bears jersey since Jim McMahon.

Kudos to you Mr. Rodgers and your neighborhood which you have shown a positive light on.
