This puts an end to a trying season for Marshall who has battled injuries throughout the season and the Bears were one of the biggest disappointments in the NFL with a 5-8 record. Marshall’s string of seven straight 1,000 yard seasons also will come to an end as he finishes the year with 61 receptions for 721 yards and eight touchdowns.
His reception and yardage totals are the lowest numbers since his rookie year in 2006.
In his first two seasons in Chicago, Marshall averaged 109 receptions for 1,401.5 yards and 11.5 touchdowns.
