Deion Sanders claims that he’s not been critical of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, but Romo got a dig in on Prime Time Thursday night.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was on the set with NFL Network personalities Rich Eisen, Deion Sanders, Steve Mariucci and Michael Irvin after his team’s 41-28 win over the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
When Eisen turned the discussion to an often-uttered criticism of Romo—that he is a quarterback that “does too much—Romo was ready.
Romo immediately looked to Sanders, sitting beside him, and asked Eisen:
"“Why do you look at Deion when you say that?”"
Here’s a clip:
Sanders said that it’s never been Romo he was referring to.
"“No, you’ve always talked good about me,” Romo said."
During the interview, Romo also said he’s had a broken rib along with the broken bone in his back that he’s dealt with this season.

That revelation piqued the curiosity of the NFL, which wondered why they hadn’t seen Romo on the injury report because of the rib injury.
ESPN Dallas reported that the NFL is investigating the situation.
Teams can be fined for failing to comply with injury report rules. The New York Jets were hit with $125,000 in fines in 2009 for failing to put quarterback Brett Favre on their injury report after he played the final month of the 2008 season with a torn biceps tendon.
Romo has been on the injury report this season, but with the back—the ribs were never mentioned.
