It’s conference championship week, and this year’s Big 10 Championship Game featuring Ohio State and Wisconsin is certainly full of intrigue.

At 11-1 and the No. 5 team in the nation, Ohio State is on the outside looking in at the College Football Playoff. However, the Buckeyes will have an excellent shot at reaching college football’s final four with a win Saturday.

To come away with a victory, Ohio State will have to overcome the season-ending injury quarterback J.T. Barrett suffered last week. The Buckeyes will start Cardale Jones at quarterback.

Wisconsin will attempt to play spoiler for the Buckeyes and and win the Big 10 Championship Game for the third time in four years. If the Badgers are to win, it will no doubt be on the legs of running back Melvin Gordon. The junior has rushed for 2,260 yards and 26 touchdowns this season and is a strong contender for the Heisman trophy.
