In fantasy, NBA leagues can be won or lost right on your league’s waiver wire. No matter the size of your league, there are players every year who emerge and change the landscape of the whole fantasy season. One word will remind anyone with a few years under their belt. Linsanity!

So with that said let’s take a look at some players who might be available in your league. Most of this article will focus on overall players, and the percentages of ownership will be determined by ESPN standard sized leagues. I will also try to help you find some deep league gems.
Mario Chalmers, Heat: This is a guy who is usually underrated even by his team’s own fans. But Super Mario has truly impressed every time he has been given a start recently. One has to think that soon ‘Rio will be starting over the lackluster Norris Cole, and even if he doesn’t, I still expect Dwyane Wade to miss enough time to make Chalmers worth rostering in standard leagues.
Harrison Barnes, Warriors: Don’t look now, but Barnes has dropped double doubles in his last two contests, and was one point and one rebound shy the two games before that. Barnes is really starting to heat up, and will only look to continue. I also don’t think Barnes will slow down with the impending return of David Lee. However, if another owner beat you to him, maybe you could float a buy low offer and remind him of Mr. Lee’s return.
Rodney Stuckey, Pacers: Stuckey got promoted to the starting lineup on Wednesday, and for all intents and purposes, ended the reign of Donald Sloan. Stuckey responded with a respectable line of 16 points, five assists, and six rebounds. Stuckey did turn the rock over four times, but all together had a decent night against a solid Trail Blazers team. Pick him up, but don’t expect him to change your world. He should be owned in all 12 team leagues.
Jameer Nelson, Mavericks: As much as I hate adding this name here, it is hard to avoid starting point guards. Nelson took over the starting job and will roll with it until he gets hurt again. He’s not going to set the world on fire, but he will get you some solid stats at this position. Don’t cut anyone you would miss, but Nelson should be owned in 12 team leagues.
Deep league find!
Tyler Zeller, Celtics: With an ownership percentage of 1%, Zeller has moved into the starting center spot for the Celtics. Zeller has been decent, and warrants a pickup in leagues of 16 teams or greater. As always, be careful who you cut. However, if you have a spot to burn, go get Zeller today.
