The hapless New York Jets are taking on the Minnesota Vikings this weekend. For Jets wide receiver Percy Harvin, it is a match up against his former team before he joined the Seattle Seahawks.

Facing an old team with familiar faces can be an emotional experience as nostalgia and other feelings surface. Harvin doesn’t expect to have any emotions of that nature surface though.

No, no emotions at all. I’m glad to play, be out there and see some of my old teammates,” Harvin said, via the New York Post. “So no emotions.”

To Harvin, this is just another game on the schedule.

“I don’t think anything stands out other than it’s our next game. For me, it’ll be good just to go back out there and see some fans, some of my old teammates,” he said.

This game surely is one of the least intriguing NFL match ups this weekend. If Harvin would’ve come out and done some prize fight like trash talking, for instance like Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith did before facing the Carolina Panthers, he could’ve sold the game to casual NFL fans.
