29. (TIE) Bob Hayes, Dallas Cowboys: 51 Points
Bob Hayes is one of the Cowboys’ more underrated players of all-time. Throughout his career he was an elite deep threat and he played consistently great football for about seven years. He’s a Super Bowl Champion and is in the Cowboys’ Ring of Honor. He definitely belongs among the greatest receivers of all-time, especially because he helped evolve the position even further by demonstrating that speed can be more valuable than height or strength when catching the ball.
Hayes wasn’t just a sprinter (he actually was an Olympic sprinter), he had hands, too. Twice he led the NFL in touchdown catches and he put together back-to-back 1000-yard receiving seasons to start his career. Two times he was named First Team All-Pro and three times he was invited to the Pro Bowl. As far as dominating his position and peers for a few years, Hayes was the best Cowboys receiver of all-time. Although Dez Bryant may eventually have something to say about that (Cue anger from Michael Irvin fans).
